 Questions on a narrative

Little Red Riding Hood has existed in a variety of forms for hundreds of years.

The version I used in class and which is recorded on the website is

http://www.surlalunefairytales.com/ridinghood/index.html

It is by Charles Perrault, and is found in

Lang, Andrew, ed. “Little Red Riding Hood.” The Blue Fairy Book. New York: Dover, 1965. (Original published 1889.)

Some students were not happy with the ending. They remembered other endings.

As I explained, this is because we take different “interpretations” based on our need for endings and resolutions that we feel comfortable with.

Answer the following questions. Use your imagination if you are not sure of the answer:-

1)      Who was Little Red Riding Hood going to visit?

2)      Why didn’t they live together in the one house?

3)      Who was lurking in the woods?

4)      Why didn’t Little Red Riding Hood rush?

5)      What ending do you prefer to Little Red Riding Hood?

    1) Do you listen to music while you study?
Yes, i do tend to listen to music while i study.

    2) Do you listen to music to relax and/or

I listen to music all the time – it is one of my favourtie things to do so i tend to listen to music while I relax and when I study.

    3) Do some kinds of music help you study better?
It depends – i just mainly listen to music because it entertains me even though sometimes i don’t tend to concentrate. I do think that soft, very easy ‘chilling-out’ music would help me with my study, but other than that, i would prefer to listen to my favourites.

I have many. If i was to name a few, they would be Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, My Chemical Romance, The Academy Is…, Good Charlotte, Green Day, The Veronicas and even James Morrison and Paolo Nutini.
